Romeo and Juliet
Exposition: Benvolio and Mercutio are looking for Romeo, Mercutio suggestively talks about Rosaline. This shows irony in the fact that the reader knows Romeo's affection for Rosaline no longer exists. Romeo comes upon Juliet on her bedroom balcony. She is asking herself what the meaning of a name is.
Rising Action: Romeo tells Juliet that he will give up his name if only she loves him. This shows how rashly Romeo makes decisions.
Climax: Romeo and Juliet decide to get married.
Falling Action: Romeo asks Friar Laurence if he will marry the couple, and though at first reluctant, he sees this as an oppurtunity to end the families' fued. Juliet sends the Nurse to tell Romeo the hour of the wedding.
Resolution: Juliet goes to the church to meet Romeo and the Friar. They are married, and the act ends.
